What is included for free
- Photos up to 100 MB each (room for full-resolution exports)
- Up to 3 photos per drop
- 72-hour share window (renewable for $2)
- Inline image preview on the share link
- Anonymous — no account, no tracking pixels
For photographers and casual senders
Free photo upload on quik.space is a clean fit for delivering a wedding sneak peek, sending a single product shot to a client, or passing a screenshot to a colleague without dropping it into a shared drive. The share page shows the photo full-bleed inline so the recipient sees it the second they open the link, with the download button right there for the original file.
Because nothing sits around longer than 72 hours by default, you do not need to remember to clean up after yourself. If a client needs the link to live longer, $2 extends it by 30 days, renewable.
Need more than the free tier?
The free tier covers most casual photo sharing. For a full shoot delivery, paid bulk upload is $2 for up to 25 files in one batch. RAW files over 100 MB upload for $1 (up to 500 MB) or $5 (up to 5 GB). See pricing for the full table.
Frequently asked
- Can I send full-resolution photos?
- Yes. quik.space stores the exact bytes you upload — there is no automatic downscale or recompress. The recipient gets the original pixel dimensions and EXIF data of your file.
- Will the recipient see the photo inline?
- Yes. The share page renders JPG, PNG, GIF, and WebP inline as an image. The recipient can right-click to save, or use the download button to grab the original file.
- Does it support HEIC from iPhone?
- HEIC files upload and download fine. Inline preview depends on the recipient's browser — Safari renders HEIC natively, most other browsers will offer to download it. If broad compatibility matters, export to JPG first.
- Can I send a batch of photos?
- Up to 3 photos per drop are free. For more, paid bulk upload is $2 for up to 25 files in one batch. See the pricing page for details.
- How big can a single photo be?
- Up to 100 MB free. RAW files and uncompressed TIFFs from pro cameras can exceed that — $1 covers 100 MB to 500 MB, $5 covers 500 MB to 5 GB.
- Is quik.space a free image hosting service?
- Yes. Drop a JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, or HEIC and get a direct image link. Free up to 100 MB, no signup, no public gallery, no ads. Hotlinkable for Discord, forums, and blog embeds. See also /imgur-alternative for the full comparison.
- How can I share JPG pictures publicly?
- Drop the JPG, copy the link, post it. The link resolves to an inline image preview on the share page. Free for files up to 100 MB. If you want it to stay up longer than 72 hours, $2 extends by 30 days, renewable.
- Can I get a free image hosting alternative with hotlinking?
- Yes. quik.space's direct file URL is a hotlink that works in img tags, Discord embeds, and blog posts. The link stays live for the file's lifetime (72 hours free, 7 days with passcode, 30 days paid).
- Where do I drop files or images here to upload them?
- On the quik.space homepage. Drag files here to upload, or click anywhere on the drop zone to pick from your file system. Up to 3 files at a time free, each up to 100 MB.
- Is there a public image sharing site without an account?
- quik.space is public-link sharing without an account. The image isn't added to a public gallery or feed — it just lives at the share URL until expiry. If you want a discoverable public profile, look at Pixeldrain or PostImages instead.
- What's the best photo library for shared albums with friends?
- For ongoing shared albums, Google Photos or Apple Shared Albums are still the leaders. For one-shot 'here's the 25 photos from last weekend', drop them on quik.space with $3 passcode-bulk and send one link.
