For non-Microsoft workflows
Not everyone wants to send a .docx through OneDrive or convert their Keynote deck to Google Slides. Free document upload on quik.space gives you a public link for any Office or OpenDocument file in seconds. The recipient previews it inline via an embedded viewer and downloads the original — formatting, tracked changes, and embedded media intact.
That makes it a clean fit for freelancers handing off a draft, students sending a paper, or anyone who just wants a one-shot link without inviting somebody into a shared cloud account.
Need more than the free tier?
The free tier covers most document sharing. If you need a longer window, $2 extends any file by 30 days, renewable. For files between 100 MB and 500 MB, $1 covers the upload. Between 500 MB and 5 GB, $5. See pricing for the full table.
Frequently asked
- Can I share a .docx without OneDrive or Google Drive?
- Yes. Drop the .docx on quik.space, get a public quik.space/u/... link, send it however you want. No Microsoft account, no Google account, no shared workspace required on either side.
- Does the recipient need Microsoft Office to open the file?
- The share page renders Word, PowerPoint, and Excel files in an inline preview via the Google Docs Viewer embed — readable in any modern browser. The download button hands over the original file for full editing in Word, Pages, LibreOffice, or anything else that opens the format.
- Which document formats are supported?
- Common Office formats including .docx, .doc, .pptx, .ppt, .xlsx, .xls, plus OpenDocument .odt, .ods, and .odp. Plain text and source files preview directly. Any other extension uploads and downloads fine, the preview just may be unavailable.
- Is the original formatting preserved?
- Yes. quik.space stores the bytes you upload — fonts, layouts, embedded images, tracked changes, and metadata all stay intact in the downloaded file. The inline preview is a rendered approximation, not a re-export.
- How long does the share link last?
- 72 hours by default. If you need longer, $2 extends any file by 30 days from now, renewable indefinitely. There is no permanent storage by design.
